The 9070 XT is looking decent for £599. Only upper midrange card worth considering in the current market. 9070 needs to be £499 to make sense to cosnider buying unfortunately. I expect price cuts down to around £520-530 in 3 months when inventory clearly isnt moving.

Looking good, hopefully this will have an effect on the whole stack of used cards (6700xt I am looking at you), My child has a vega 56 which could do with replacing and I am not against replacing my rx6800 either.

And we can keep all our kidneys and souls and not buy nvidia.

Loooks good ... for gaming. Not so good for "productivity" tasks, and sadly, video rendering is one of my primary needs.

Still, if/when I order the long-threatened PC, I suppose I could use it for everything non-video, and fall back on the mobile 3080 in this laptop for video rendering. I'd rather not but, it's a possible route. I sure don't fancy current nVidea pricing, even if I could actually get my hands on what I was going to get .... until the problems started showing up with 50xx.
